Threadful is a browser extension that enhances your ChatGPT experience by allowing you to:
- Branch ChatGPT responses into organized side threads
- Highlight text for instant AI explanations via popups
- Maintain clean, organized conversations with full context preservation
- Store and manage your chat threads securely
2.1 Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use Threadful. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
2.2 Account Creation: To access certain features, you may need to create an account by signing in with your Google account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information through your Google login.
2.3 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
3.1 Permitted Use: You may use Threadful for lawful purposes only, in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
3.2 Prohibited Activities: You agree NOT to:
- Use the Extension for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
- Interfere with or disrupt the Extension's functionality or servers
- Share, distribute, or resell access to the Extension without authorization
- Use the Extension to transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
4.1 OpenAI Integration: Threadful integrates with OpenAI's services. Your use of OpenAI features through Threadful is subject to OpenAI's terms of service.
4.2 API Keys: If you provide your own OpenAI API key, you acknowledge that:
- API keys are stored locally on your device only
- You are responsible for all API usage and associated costs
- You must comply with OpenAI's usage policies
5.1 Privacy Policy: Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
5.2 Data Encryption: Your chat data is encrypted before being stored on our servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
5.3 Data Retention: We retain your data as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.
6.1 Subscription Fees: Certain features may require payment of subscription fees. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
6.2 Payment Processing: Payments are processed by trusted third-party payment processors. We do not store your payment information.
6.3 Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
6.4 Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
7.1 Our Rights: Threadful and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 License Grant: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension for personal or business use in accordance with these Terms.
7.3 Your Content: You retain ownership of your chat content. By using the Extension, you grant us a license to process and store your content as necessary to provide the Service.
8.1 Service Availability: We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Extension.
8.2 "As Is" Basis: The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
8.3 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension.
9.1 Termination by You: You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser.
9.2 Termination by Us: We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
9.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Extension ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
